Well, tomorrow is Passmember Preview Day @ Busch Gardens Williamsburg. The big day has finally arrived. We've been waiting three months to get back to the park, but for the most part, time has really flown this winter.
The weather is supposed to be beautiful. 74 degrees and sunny. The park added an additional hour to the schedule (open until 7pm now) due to the nice weather forecast. We plan on being there when the gates open at 10am and will hope to make it until 7 (with cooperation from Cora of course:)
There is a lot to look forward to at the park this year. The stables in the Scotland section have added new black Clydesdales, along with about a dozen Scottish blackface sheep, and some collies that will be trained to herd them. Ireland will feature a new projector-ride called Europe in the Air and a new show, Celtic Fyre, at the Abbey Stone Theater.
This summer will have lots of concerts, highlighed by the B-52's, the Fixx, and the Bangles. A skateboard competition, and a nightly fireworks/light show throughout the park.
We will, of course, be there often. We will have lots of pictures to post and lots of stories of our visits to the park. Hope you enjoy.
